I was very excited about Bridal Show here in Spokane, for especially it was my very first one. Preparation started in fall, I planned and made most of it myself, of course being inspired by some other beautiful photographer’s booths found on internet. But I couldn’t make it happen without the help and support of my family and friends. To start, I would like to thank Sean, Kipp and Howard Riley who helped me build the most beautiful walls I could only dreamed of! We wanted to create a natural wooden look and I am very happy with how it turned out.
The booth itself had a lot of little details that made it very homy and cute.
During the Fair we had a drawing for a free Engagement Session, which I will announce in my next post, so stay tuned!
All kinds of lights and lamps in the booth made a huge difference.
My most favorite part of the booth – is a window. Also I am collecting cameras: some of them were brought all the way from Russia. I love how these retro photography details sprinkled some creativity feeling into the “room”.
Everybody were able to help themselves – grab a card from a picture frame that I turned into a “business card hanger”:)
During some overwhelming hours my brides were able to sit down, relax on a couch, look at some albums and have a candy:) You have probably noticed – I am a big fan of chalk board art – I think they turned out pretty good:)
We were very busy: two days flew by extremelly fast! But we met a lot of old and new friends among local photographers and other vendors, and most importantly made some really good connections with our potential brides.
Also I was trying very hard not to say it, but I just can’t – I think my hair looks very cute!!:) haha:)
We got a lot of great response on our giant photo book: it was very inviting!
And some of our couples received pretty little gift books – which are an exact copy of a big book.
Special thank you to my beautiful and wise assistant – Kristin! We made an awesome team! I couldn’t imagined a better friend! And most of all – huge thank you to my amazing husband, who strongly believes in me and helps me in every way.
Here it is. My first Bridal Fair. Again, thank you everybody for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed this little story, and I would really love to read your comments below!
